100 years of De Hoop >
On Saturday 4 October 2008 we celebrated that MS De Hoop was launched 100 years ago. There was a bike ride for the members and relations of the Argonauts. This was followed by a reception with more guests.

Hope on the Werf 2008 >
From 3 to 17 July, the Hoop was at Scheepswerf Boxce in Delft. In addition to regular maintenance, the last part of our restoration plan was also carried out.

Remove Windlass >
On Thursday evening 15 May 2008 the anchor winch of the Hoop was hoisted. This will go to the Boxce shipyard to be overhauled. In a few weeks the Hoop will follow it for major maintenance.

Hope on the Werf in 2004 >
In 2004, the Hoop underwent major maintenance. The engine was overhauled and a new wheelhouse was installed. In addition, it spent a week at the shipyard to get the rudder, propeller and underwater hull back in tiptop condition. Here are the photos of the new wheelhouse and the shipyard!
